Jason Dunstall Retirement Announcement

A clip of Jason Dunstall’s retirement segment from Channel Seven’s ‘Live & Kicking’ 1998. Dunstall is a VFL/AFL Legend, debuted in 1985 kicking 1254 goals in 269 games for the Hawthorn Hawks. He kicked 100 goals in a season a record six times and won the Coleman Medal in 1988, 1989 and 1992.
In May 1992, he kicked a career best of 17 goals in a game against the Richmond Football Club. Dunstall played in premiership sides in 1986, 1988, 1989 and 1991. He also played in 5 night premierships. Hawthorn captain from 1995-1998, all-Australian in 1988, 1989, 1992 and 1994, and was also part of the Hawthorn Team of the Century. He played a key role in recruiting Al Clarkson as coach which bought the club it’s tenth premiership in 2008.
